Porthole Liners

Another great example of a batch of items made to fit a specific space. I was asked to make a set of six porthole liners for the inside trim of a narrow boat. They have to match the wood already fitted inside the boat, in this case Ash, cover the unsightly cut edge of the lining and the foam insulation, fit against the port hole window and not protrude out into the gangway to much. Quite a specific brief which a adhered too. Made as a frame then turned on the lathe to exactly fit the recess. Please contact me if you would like a similar item making.
